We met with Don Armstrong with Fiesta Americana hotels and resorts and he explained that each resort is unique and has a lot of offer for most everyone's needs. It is a chain that has resorts that can be compared to the quality of a Ritz Carlton or JW Marriott.
There are resorts located in the most popular resort areas of Mexico. They include Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos.
In Cancun (described as the South Beach of Mexico) there are 3 very different resorts.
Fiesta American Condesa: Family Friendly, All Inclusive. Built in 1980, it is described as having a Disney-like atmosphere. The rooms still maintain the nostalga of the 1980's era and are currently being renovated to offer a newer more contemporary feel.
Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach: Family Friendly, currently European Plan but is scheduled to be an all-inclusive resort later this year. It is described to be comparable with the quality of experience that one would receive at a Ritz Carlton. Consisting of all suites that are spacious and feature large bathrooms. It does offer a Kid's Zone and Grand Club (concierge rooms and amentities).
Live Aqua: Adults Only, All Inclusive. Rated as Best in Mexico. Described as sophisticated Emphasis is on Sensory Rejuvenation, recharging batteries as they engage the senses, no reservation required gourmet dining, and more. IE: aroma therapy and soft music being played throughout property. As you enter for the first time you will be greeted by a host. There is no check in desk or counter. You will receive a complimentary, hand massage at check-in.

In Playa del Carmen there is only one resort.
LAT20: Adults Only, All Inclusive. Boutique with only 60 rooms, with a pool with amazing views at the top of the building. Located on popular 5th Avenue, approximately 2 blocks from the ocean. They have partnered with Kool Beach Club where you can go with your credit that you will receive from the resort for your visit there when you stay 4 or more days. Kool Beach Club does charge a la carte fees for lounges, umbrellas, drinks and more.

In Cozumel there are 2 properties that are both family friendly and all-inclusive. Cozumel is a water-sports enthusiasts destination.
Fiesta American Cozumel. All new. Rebuilt in 2014. All rooms face the ocean. Now available to families are 2 bedroom suites, kids club and spa.
The Explorean: ** offers a new concept in an all-inclusive experience. Boutique resort with only 56 rooms that features an "Active" lifestyle. Their all-inclusive program includes soft adventure activities, plus you can enjoy the on location restaurant or enjoy the food and beverages at the adjacent Fiesta American Cozumel. Not recommended for young children. Great for children 15+ years of age. It is located directly behind the Fiesta Americana.
In Puerto Vallarta there are 2 properties. Puerto Vallarta is described as being Hawaii in Mexico. Offering the authentic Mexican experience in culture and romance.
Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta Family friendly, all inclusive. Featuring Mexican style with all rooms facing ocean and have balconies. Located approximately 5 minutes to the north of downtown and the nostalgia that this city offers. Recently renovated in 2015.
Grand Fiesta American Puerto Vallarta: Adults only, all inclusive. Brand NEW! Located approximately 10 minutes south of downtown. This property is a contemporary, high-energy resort.

In Los Cabos there is only 1 resort. Close to "Lands End" of the Baja Peninsula.
