Why Not Direct with Viking?
The agents at Viking are basically order takers and very aggressive, enticing and biased sellers of travel. They do not take "no" very lightly and try to convince you that it best to book with them. Not true. Here's why -
You seldom reach the agent who helped book or previously serviced your cruise immediately. You most often have to leave a message on their voicemail and wait for them to return your call. Alternatively you can speak to another Viking representative. This person will ask you a hundred questions before they can service you. Can be very time consuming (hours to days), and frustrating especially if it is something that needs immediate attention. Don't you want to be known by name?
Not many of Viking's phone representatives that are knowledgeable. They can provide you with the incorrect information that can be very frustrating. It's sad, but true.
They can't offer you that Bonus or level of personalized service we can.
