Carnival Cruises Increases Gratuities

Increase in gratuities to be paid passengers at time of sailing are increasing as of December 1, 2011.

 

 

Gratuities paid by the passengers for the services of their room steward staff, waiter and assistant-waiter is being increased from $10 per person per day to $11.50 per person per day.  This will become effective on all cruises departing as of December 1, 2011.

For those passengers who have booked and prepaid their gratuities, this change will not affect you.
