Carnival increases price of Cheers program

We all enjoy saying "Cheers" as we lift our glass of pleasure up with our friends. Those beers, frozen concoctions, cocktails, glasses of wine, and all that is included in Carnival's beverage package called "CHEERS!" will be going up in price. Prices are scheduled to increase on January 1, 2018.
It is advisable to purchase your package in advance as it will provide you with the most savings and avoid these price increases.
Package prices current and new are as follows:
The price if you were to purchase your "CHEERS!" package in advance of departure is currently $49.95 per person per day, plus a 15% gratuity. The new price will be $51.95 per person per day, plus a 15% gratuity.
If you were to elect to wait to purchase the package while on board the ship, the current price is per person, plus a 15% gratuity. The new price will be $56.95 per person per day, plus a 15% gratuity.
Those sailing Europe on the new Carnival Horizon in April 2018 will be required to pay a 10% Value Add fee.
It is important to note that those only those 21 years of age and older are permitted to purchase a package. Each adult sharing a stateroom must purchase a "CHEERS!"package. The packages are non-refundable. Only one drink can be ordered at a time. No sharing is permitted. The next drink cannot be ordered within a 5 minute window.
