Carnival puts recent room service changes on hold.
Published Sunday, January 6th 2019 - Updated Sunday, January 6th 2019The recently announced changes to Carnival's complimentary room service policy has been placed on hold due to complaints from loyal fans.
The new plan was to enable guests to receive only a continental breakfast complimentary, and charge for a la carte items for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Loyal fans are not liking this and are complaining about it. Carnival is listening.
For the an undetermined amount of time, Carnival has put the newly implemented policy on hold until a new and perhaps more acceptable plan and policy can be implemented.
The changes in room service are an effort to eliminate or reduce food waste, and in turn keep cruise fares as low as possible.
