Categories If you have ever cruised on Carnival, or speak to someone who has, one of the desserts that you will hear mentioned frequently is the Warm Melted Chocolate Cake.  A luscious cake that oozes chocolate when you cut into its semi-liquid gooey chocolate center.  A chocolate lovers delight.  Combine it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and you will be in dessert heaven.

Carnival has kindly shared their recipe with us so that you can make it at home. Perfect for the holidays or special occasions when you want to impress your guests.

RECIPE OF THE MONTH
 
 
INGREDIENTS:
 
• 1 pound Dark Chocolate
• 1 pound Butter
• 10 Eggs
• 10 ounces Sugar
• 6 ounces Flour
 
 
TO PREPARE:
 
• Melt the chocolate and butter. Mix the eggs with 

  the sugar and whisk for a few minutes; add the 

  flour. Combine the egg mixture with the melted

  chocolate and mix. Then pour into individual 

  greased molds. Bake directly in the oven at 

  400°F for 14 minutes.
 
• Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and garnish 

  with fresh fruit. Serve warm with ice cream.
 
• Serves 12
