Carnival Triumph Given New Assignment

Carnival Corporation has given the Carnival Triumph its new assignment beginning the Spring of 2016. It will begin sailing out of New Orleans, Louisiana. Offering 4 and 5-night sailings to the Western Caribbean.
The Carnival Triumph is currently sailing out of Galveston, Texas, with 4 and 5-night short duration cruise itineraries to the Western Caribbean (Mexico). The Carnival Triumph will be replaced by the Carnival Liberty next spring, beginning April 6, 2016, and will offer 4 and 5-night cruise itineraries.
Carnival Triumph has undergone a dry dock that added a number of fun amenities that include the following poolside venues: Guy's Burger Joint (in partnership with Guy Fieri from the Food Network), poolside bars the BlueIguana Tequila Bar and RedFrog Bar, the BlueIguana Cantina featuring Mexican delight. Also added to the ship is a cocktail pharmacy themed bar entitled Alchemy, and a candy store called Cherry on Top. The Carnival Triumph offers over 500 stateroom and suite with private balconies. Most ships that sail short duration cruises do not offer balcony staterooms.
