Celebrity Upgrades Online Check-In

Celebrity Cruises has announced that it has made changes to improve the online check in process for their sailings. The new changes will be implemented on November 3, 2015. Making the check-in process easier and faster to complete.
Some of the new implementations include:
The ability to check in minors on a different reservation. IE: Your children are booked and rooming with grandparents.
It will auto-populate information provided from original reservation provided. It will no longer be necessary to re-enter your name, birth date, etc. If for some reason the information is incorrect, it will be necessary to call the person you booked through to make the necessary modifications. IE: Your agent, online site, or the Celebrity reservations department.
The system will be able to detect if there are any differences based on the information being entered versus what was provided. IE: name as it appears in booking versus name as it appears on the passport or ID.
The system will detect if information is missiing and will not allow you to proceed further until mandatory fields are completed. An error message will indicate what is missing.
Allow back-to-back travellers to complete check-in for all segments at one time.
Requests or fields that need to be filled out for most important information are at the beginning of the process. Items such as "Travel Plans" are now at the end of the process. Entering the information for your Travel Plans are not mandatory to print and obtain boarding passes and luggage tags. It is strongly recommended that the travel plans section be completed in the event of an emergency, or a change in itinerary. IE: delay in embarkation or debarkation, or change of ports, etc.
The system will indicate how far along the check-in process is from being completed.
You will be able to partially complete the check-in process and return again without having to re-enter the information provided you press the SAVE button at the bottom of the page.
You will be able to complete the check-in process provided you have begun the process outside of 3 days prior to boarding.
You will be able to print the Xpress Pass as many times as you find necessary one the check-in process has been completed up until embarkation or check in at the pier.
