Costa Rica has updated its entry requirements
Published Monday, October 26th 2020 - Updated Monday, October 26th 2020As the popular tropical destination of Costa Rica opens up its doors to international travelers beginning November 1, 2021, the requirement to obtain Negative Covid tests (RT-PCR) and the need to quarantine will be discontinued.
As of Nov. 1, the following entry requirements to Costa Rica will be necessary when arriving by air:
- Fill out the electronic epidemiological health pass form, available at https://salud.go.cr
- Obtain traveller’s medical insurance, either an international policy or purchased in destination through the National Insurance Institute (INS) at https://www.grupoins.com/ or seguroparaviajeros, or Sagicorhttps://www.sagicor.cr/seguro_para_turistas/
