Cruise lines are optimistic that cruise travel will continue to be a favored vacation for people well into the future.


Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL), and Holland America have announced that they have signed or in the process of ordering new and exciting ships to be added to their fleet in 2015/2016.  These ships will have more energy efficient engines, and innovations that will be attractive to potential passengers.


These new ships may be added to their current fleets to increase the number of ships available to offer more itinerary options and destinations in one given time, or to replace ships that they will be retiring or selling to other cruise lines.
