Cruise lines rerouting itineraries including Turkey

If you are planning, or have booked a Mediterranean cruise, you may have noticed that many cruise lines are changing their itineraries so as not to include ports of call in Turkey.
Amid terrorist threats and other potential security risks many cruise lines are completely eliminating the customary stops to Turkish ports of call such a Istanbul and Kusadasi. In lieu of these stops they are sailing to other cruise ports in other countries or adding an additional day at sea.
Please note that all cruise lines reserve the right to alter itineraries as they deem necessary. Most especially if their is any potentail harm to their passengers or property due to weather and political issues. Cruising is one of the safest modes of travel available for travel worldwide.
If a visit to Turkey was why you booked a cruise, and you wish to cancel, it may be possible provided that you have not paid in full or booked into a promotion with a non-refundable deposit.
Please note that airfare is not refundable. Changes will incur fees or cancellations without a refund.
