Feedback from a client who sailed the Holland America Koningsdam

Recently had a client come back from sailing the Holland America Konsingdam who sailed the Eastern Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale.  She has sailed many cruise lines, and this is the second time on Holland America.  This client traveled solo, but is very social.

Here are some of my clients comments regarding this ship and sailing.  Her stateroom was an interior as she wanted to keep the price as low as possible since she was traveling herself.  She normally would select a balcony stateroom if she were sailing with a companion.  She found the stateroom very spacious.  She was close enough to a door that led to the walking deck that would enable her to look out to see what the weather was like.  She offered no complaints with regard to the stateroom or room steward service.

Dining - she was seated at a table for 6.  3 of 6 people never showed.  The food, in her opinion was fair/good in most circumstances.  However, there were 3 meals that she felt were exceptional.  Overall she put the food and food service to be satisfactory.

Entertainment - the shows were "just okay" in her opinion.  One of her favorite venues/shows was BBKing Blues.   When it comes to entertainment everyone has their personal favorite type or style of music.  

The ports of call - met expectations.  She did not go on any excursions, just walked around town or stayed by the pier.

Would my client cruise on this ship and cruise line again?  It may not be her personal favorite, but if it going where she wants to go and the price is right.  Yes, she would go again.
