Categories A group of friends booked a cruise with us as they wanted to check off Alaska from their bucket list.

They selected a 7-night round trip cruise that departed and returned from Seattle, Washington, on Celebrity's Celebrity Solstice.   They all booked balcony staterooms so not to miss any of the scenery.

With our recommendation, they arrived in Seattle two days earlier than the cruise ships departure to make sure that they don't miss the boat and to see and experience the city of Seattle and take in a wine tour.  The wine tour that we found and booked for them was entitled "Snoquamie Falls and Seattle Winery Tour".  This tour was a guided tour that they said they would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys wine and more! This tour exceeded their expectations.

They all found excursions that would enable them to check off activities that they had only dreamed of. Enabling them to do and see things that they only heard about and knew would be unique experiences while in Alaska.

The men checked off an activity that was on their bucket list - fishing for salmon.  Not only did they catch salmon, but were able to have the salmon shipped home to share with family and friends and to talk to them about their exciting expedition.

The ladies took a small boat tour to look for whales and wildlife.  Not only did they experience the whales but got to see a bear on the banks of the shoreline.  They marvelled as the eagles soared above their heads.  It was a dream come true.

One other amazing moment that they were able to experience is the calfing of some icebergs.  They watched as a large piece of ice slid into the water and caused waves which rocked their ship.

They had the picture perfect Alaskan experience.

One comment that was made is that "words cannot describe what you see as you sail from one hour to the next".   This is so true.  Pictures do not properly depict the beauty and slendor of Alaska.

As far as the ship was concerned, they came home satisfied.  It was their first time on a Celebrity cruise and noted the differences that they experienced from prior cruises on Carnival.

It is rewarding for us when our clients come home from moments that translate into lifelong memories.   An experience that they'll share with their friends and family, and will live forever as they recall their experiences with each other.

Is Alaska on your list of places to go to?  Next summer will be here before you know it!  It's time to book now to secure the best staterooms and rates.
