Recently the internet is a blaze with statements, as my title read, Free Drinks from Carnival If You Don't Cancel.  Don't get excited by the headings but read the article the whole way.

Carnival, as well as other cruise lines are trying to keep people traveling and are offering incentives to prevent people from cancelling.

The truth is that Carnival is issuing up to $200 in shipboard credit depending on the length of your voyage.  

The funds that will automatically be added to qualifying sailings, depending on departure dates.

The funds or shipboard credit can be applied to drink packages, spa treatments, shore excursions at your discretion.  

The funds or shipboard credit cannot be reimbursed to passengers in the form of cash.

They are not adding drink packages to their already generous offer.

Please don't get caught up in misleading titles and marketing jargon.

Find a trust worthy travel advisor who has your best interests at heart and can interpret the promos for you.  Lots of time they are not exactly as they seem.
