It's in the news how Thomas Cook, a once large and popular brand name in travel went under.  Leaving many people stranded without a vacation, and worse, without getting their money back.

It is amazing that such a thing can happen and it does.  We are hearing more and more how a company crumbles without notice and leaves people stranded.

Will this happen to you at Cruise Planners?

No, it shouldn't.  We work with reputable companies that are financially secure.  Our home office scrutinizes each company before they can become a travel partner with Cruises Planners and/or American Express Travel Services.  This is why we don't sell certain brands.   We insist that you allow us to book for you a brand that may cost more than the one you are seeing with that tempting low price, or is popular with your friends or family for this reason.    It can happen to you.  It is in everyone's best interests for me not to book that company for you and there is a justified reason.  I don't want to have you stranded!

As reputable travel advisors, we are required to provide you with travel protection.  Our policies protect you from supplier default or bankruptcy.  This, at least, will allow for you to get all or most of your money back.

As for your planned vacation, I will work with you and for you to see what we can to salvage your vacation to the best of my ability.
