More Cruise Suspensions, Resorts in Mexico and other destinations in the Caribbean opening soon
Published Thursday, May 21st 2020 - Updated Thursday, May 21st 2020As everyone continue to monitor the conditions of the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) and how it can impact everyone and their health and safety, Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean International (Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Silversea and Azamara) extend their suspensions through to the end of July 2020.
Each cruise line will offer the option of a future cruise credit in the amount of 125% of the cruise fare paid, or the choice of a full refund.
Royal Caribbean and its family of brands have implemented a new policy called "Lift and Switch". This enables those who desire to move their current reservations and pricing to the same ship and itinerary in 2021. Guaranteeing the lowest price for your selected stateroom category. You will have a 4 week timeframe next year that matches the sailings that were booked for this year.
In the meantime, resorts within Mexico are scheduled to open their doors to visitors July 1, 2020. Same is true for resorts on select islands in the Caribbean. All coming with their own protection plan to allow you to book with confidence.
