It is all the more important that you book with a well-informed travel agent because there have been many announcements being made every day.  Not just new sailings and sailing changes or suspensions, but also requirements of the passenger in order to sail.  The online sites cannot react quickly enough to the changes and may/or may not advise you of the changes as they occur.

Celebrity announced a couple today that were not mentioned previously with regard to sailing.  It has been brought to our attention that a negative PCR test will be required to enter Greece.  The cruise line requires that the same test be conducted within 72 hours of sailing.  So it is important that the test you have done at home works within these requirements or you may have to pay for two.  One from home, and one in Greece.  Double the expense and double the hassle.

Also, those planning to take advantage of sailing out of St. Maarten.  It was brought to our attention that in order to enter the country of St. Maarten, it is required of all visitors to purchase travel protection.  Be aware that the policy from us or Celebrity may not be adequate.

These changes, and other to be announced requirements, and those to enter the country of the cruise's origin, are all the more important to be on top of.  On your own, or with the aid of a travel professional.
