Smoking Policy Revision

Carnival has notified us of revisions being made to their Smoking Policy.  In an effort to enhance the cruise vacation of the majority of passenger (per passenger surveys), Carnival has made revisions to their smoking policy limiting where passengers who wish to smoke can do so.

A big change is the passenger's ability to smoke in their stateroom.  This will no longer be possible on all ships and sailings commencing December 1, 2011.  In addition to this, passengers in suites with balconies willl not be allowed to smoke on their balcony.  The only private space that a passenger can smoke will be their balcony of their balcony stateroom.

Other locations will be provided for authorized smoking on board the ships.

Fines of $250 per occurance will be strictly enforced.  The fines will be applied to the stateroom's Sign and Sail account.
