People have been calling asking what is happening to Royal Caribbean in January. "There's no ship leaving from Galveston after the 3rd of January". There will be come February.
What's happening to the Liberty of the Seas in January? Exciting fun loving things!
People are going to love sailing the Liberty of the Seas after it receives its refurbishment. It will be pulled from service for a few weeks as the Liberty of the Seas receives some new activities to add to your adventure.
1) Water Slides. Outside of the Harmony of the Seas, the Liberty of the Seas will be one of the first ships to receive them. It will include "Tidal Wave" a first boomerang slide. " Perfect Storm" will be two new racer slides called "Cyclone" and "Typhoon".
2) Enhanced Kids Waterpark called "Splashaway Bay". Hours of water fun await our kids with water buckets, cannons, geysers and more.
3) Panoramic Oceanview Staterooms. Spacious Oceanview staterooms with ceiling to floor windows and spectacular views. These rooms will not have balconies.
4) New Specialty Restaurants. Coming will be "Giovanni's Table", for an Italian fine dining experience; and, Sabor, for an authentic Mexican dining experience.
5) "Saturday Night Fever" the Musical. Now playing in the theater for your entertainment pleasure.
The Liberty of the Seas will be sailing 7-night round trip voyages from Galveston, Texas, year round, to the Western Caribbean.
