So Excitiing as more cruise lines are getting ready to sail. Norwegian Cruise Lines will be sailing again with brand new itineraries!
Fans of cruising and Norwegian Cruise Line will be delighted to learn that NCL will be sailing again as they join other cruise lines who also announced recently their resumption to cruising this summer (Summer 2021). Namely, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Crystal Cruises. Passengers and crew must be fully vaccinated in order to sail, other strict and improved protocols will be implemented to provide a healthy and safe environment for all on board their ships.
Norwegian (NCL) will be offering sailings to the Southern Caribbean and Western Caribbean, and the Mediterranean/Greek Islands.
Commencing July 25, 2021, the Norwegian Jade will be sailing 7-night itineraries to the Greek Islands, from Athens, Greece. The ports of call on this itinerary will be Olympia, Crete, Rhodes, Mykonos, Corfu and Santorini.
Commencing August 8, 2021, The Norwegian Joy will be sailing 7-night itineraries to the Caribbean, from Montego Bay, Jamaica. The ports of call will be Harvest Caye (Norwegian's private destination in Belize): Roatan, Honduras; Cozumel, Mexico; and, Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
Commencing August 15, 2021, The Norwegian Gem will be sailing 7-night itineraries from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and visiting the Southern Caribbean islands of Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Maarten and Antigua.
Passengers who wish to get off the ship and visit the ports of call must book only excursions offered by Norwegian Cruise Line.
All three ships will be operating at 60% capacity.
At this time sailings scheduled to sail from the U.S. are still on hold, or slowly being suspended. Still awaiting clearance from the CDC to allow cruise ships to sail from the U.S.
