Norwegian Cruises Announces latest round of cruise suspensions
Published Friday, April 24th 2020 - Updated Friday, April 24th 2020This morning Norwegian announced their latest round of cruise suspensions due to Coronavirus concerns and safety. The cruises lines affected include Regent Seven Seas and Oceania.
All cruises are suspended until June 30, 2020. Sailings beginning July 1, 2020, on forward are not affected at this time.
Those that were booked on sailings that were to have departed March 13 through March 17, 2020, will be entitled to receive a 150% future cruise credit. Those scheduled to have sailed March 18 through June 30, 2020, will be entitled to a 125% Future Cruise Credit. The Future Cruise Credits are expected to be completed by May 1, 2020.
Those who elect to keep the future cruise option, and to wish to book a new cruise departing through to December 31, 2022, can book now through May 15 to receive an additional 20% off of their cruise fare. Applicable to all promotions (restrictions and limitations may apply).
If you would prefer a refund, a form must be completed and the refund requested online. A refund of 100% will take approximately 90 days. The refund will be applied to the original form of payment (credit or debit card) by which the deposit was paid.
