Norwegian to discontinue Nickelodeon experience

Today Norwegian Cruise Line has announced that the Nickelodeon experiences that have been enjoyed by children and families will be discontinued onboard select ships as of the end of 2015.
Norwegian Cruise Line strives to bring high quality family entertainment to their passengers on board their ships, and one of their offerings was the Nickelodeon experience for the children and their families.
The Nickelodeon experience included interaction with Nickelodeon characters such as Dora the Explorer, Diego, and SpongeBob Square Pants. As well as the fun, games and antics of the Green Slime.
As of January 1, 2016, the Nickelodeon experience will not be available on board the Norwegian Epic and the Norwegian Escape. As of January 1, 2017, the Nickelodeon experience will be discontinued on their remaining ships.
No announcement has been made as to whether these themed experiences will be replaced and with whom.
