The absolute best time to book your future cruise is as soon as cruise itineraries and pricing are released.  Over the course of the next few weeks, from now through December, the various cruise lines are releasing what they will have to offer through to 2021.  We will have access to these and their prices in order for you to book now or as soon as possible.

Why book so early?  It assures you of two things -

1)  The best selection and availability of cabins/staterooms.  Including those hard to get suites, family staterooms are specially designed for families in mind and may occupy more than the usual 4 passengers in a stateroom, and those limited number of cabins designed for solo travelers on select ships.  Also, sailings on limited or seasonal sailings such as Transocean or Repositioning cruises.

2)  Best Price Assurance.  The last minute deal is not what it used to be, and one can almost say - gone.  In most instances the earlier you book the better the overall price will be. It's easy to get caught up in the marketing strategies and the promos that the cruise lines offer.  Waiting for a kids free offer, shipboard credit offer, complimentary upgrade offer is often a waste of your time and can cost you as you will be required to pay a higher price in most instances.

PLUS, we at Cruise Planners will monitor pricing and promotions for you once you book with us.  In the event the overall price goes down or the cruise line offers added amenities (perks) at no additional price, and your stateroom qualifies, we do the work for you and pass on the savings and/or added amenities to you.  You don't need to do a thing.  We'll take care of it and will not charge fees for this service or for making the changes for you.  The only time you will have to pay a fee is if the cruise line itself requires it due to the type of promotion into which you were originally booked.  You will be advised in such an event and determine whether it is of value for you or not.  Please know that the cruise lines and online sites will not do this for you.  

This is the best time to plan and book your groups.  Whether it is getting your friends together to have fun away from home and explore a destination together, a family reunion, a special celebration such as a destination wedding, it is to your advantage to lock in rates now!  One note of caution, depending on the cruise line staterooms/cabins must be booked within a period of time from when the group rates are initiated.  Also, cabins close to, adjoining or connecting are not guaranteed until booked and secured with a deposit.  This is something most families and friends traveling together desire.
