Princess Cruises announces a gratuity/service fee hike

Princess Cruises joins the others as they announce an increase in the service fees/gratuities that go to the room steward and dining room staff.
Commencing with all sailings departing on or prior to December 15, 2016, the new daily gratuity amounts will be as follows:

- $13.50 USD per guest per day for regular staterooms (interior, oceanview and balcony) – an increase of $0.55.
- $14.50 USD per guest per day for mini-suites (including Club Class) – an increase of $0.55.
- $15.50 USD per guest per day for suites – an increase of $1.55.
If you are already booked on a sailing departing on or after December 15, 2016, you may prepay your gratuities to avoid the upcharge.
