The RIU Palace Resort in Los Cabos, Mexico receives two thumbs up from customers who had visited the resort and area recently.

"It's a beautiful resort in a beautiful area".  They enjoyed their stay immensely.  Dining in specialty restaurants (ie:  steak, Mexican and Japanese) were included in the price.  You just needed reservations to eat dinner at these dining venues.

It offered pools for everyone.  Adults only, kiddies and family pools.  Most of the activities, games, etc. were held at the family pool.  Thus making the adult only pool a quiet retreat.  They found the resort to be clean, secure and well-maintained.

The beach is beautiful with outstanding waves.  It was recommended that you must be a very strong swimmer to swim in the ocean.  Waves were thought to be as much as 12 feet high and there was a strong current.

Their favorite outing was to go fishing.  Los Cabos is recognized as a fishing village.  One of the parties were lucky to catch a blue marlin.  A highly prized fish.

A word of caution was issued regarding dining cruise excursions.  Be sure to check out what type of meal will be served during the cruise.  Theirs ended up being refried beans, rice and some fried chicken on a paper plate that was handed to them.  They were disappointed.  Stating that the quality was lacking.
