Royal Caribbean did not make any formal announcement about the increase in their beverage packages, but feedback from customers who recently traveled have expressed their dismay.

The "Ultimate" Drink Package which sold for $50 per person per day has been increased to $59 per person per day, plus service charges.  The Ultimate Package includes: soda fountain drinks, bottled water, sparkling water, fresh-squeezed juices, premium coffee and tea, Coca-Cola souvenir cup, and beer, wine by the glass, and cocktails (includes frozen) for $50.

The "Premium" Drink Package is now $49 per person per day, plus service chargess.  This package includes: soda fountain drinks, bottled water, Coca-Cola souvenir cup, beer, wine by the glass, and cocktails (includes frozen.

The "Select" Drink Package is $39 per person per day, plus service charges.  This package includes soda fountain drinks, Coca-Cola souvenir cup, beer and wine by the glass.

Other non-alcholic drink packages are available to choose from.

The above drink packages do offer the passenger choices and options.  Choices that would best satisfy their needs and preferences.  Those who do not drink bottled water and such will not have to pay for them, and can select a package with a lower price tag.

Please consider whether a drink package is worth purchasing.  If you just plan on having a glass of wine or a few bottles of beer a day, a drink package may not be of value to you.  If you feel that you cannot resist those trays full of frozen concoctions and you would like to have a beer at your side all they time while at the pool, a drink package is probably worth your investment.
