As the travel and cruise industry reels from the Coronvirus and its effects on business, the Royal Caribbean family of brands, joins the Carnival Family of brands to extend their  suspensions.

Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Azamara, and Silversea, are affected by the suspension that affects all cruises and cruisetours through June 11, 2020.  They are hopeful that they will be able to resume sailing June 12, 2020.

Affected passengers will be entitled to a Future Cruise Credit of 125% that can be applied to a future cruise through to April 2022.   However, the booking must be made by December 31, 2020 for those funds to be applied.

For those who would rather, a 100% refund will be issued to the credit card by which the deposit or initial payment for the cruise was made.  How long could you expect to wait?  It is said that it is taking up to 60 days for people to receive their refunds.  My suggestion here is just sit tight and be patient and your refund will come as soon as the cruise line is able to process it accordingly.

For those with Future Cruise Credits.  Did you know that you can book your next cruise with anyone you choose?  Particularly if you booked direct with the cruise line and not another travel agent (unless they are no longer in business or cannot be reached).

Please give us the opportunity to show you how I can offer you a level of service and support that you won't get by booking direct with the cruise line.  We offer the exact same promos that they do.  Pass on any discounts that you may qualify for, and you may receive better rates and/or added amenities when you sail.

Yes, it is easy to press buttons to book, but good luck getting a hold of someone when there is a crisis such as what we are experiencing today.  Not so with me.  I guarantee it!
