Royal Caribbean to offer 4- and 5-night cruises from Galveston

In response for the demand for short duration cruises from Galveston, Royal Caribbean will be moving the Vision of the Seas to Galveston in the fall of 2017. Currently, the only cruise line that offers 4- and 5-night cruises from Galveston is Carnival.
All of this will begin with a 14-night repositioning cruise from Beyonne, New Jersey, on October 23, 2017. Ports of call along the way will be Labadee, Haiti (Royal's private beach escape), Bonaire, Curacao, Aruba, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Progresso.
Begining November 6, 2017, the Vision of the Seas will begin a series of 4- and 5-night sailings to the Western Caribbean from Galveston.
The 4-night sailings will be to Cozumel, Mexico.
The 5-night sailings will be to Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico. Offering a twist on Carnival's 5-night sailings going to Progresso and Cozumel, Mexico.
Currently rates are as low as $258 per person.
