Clients recently returned from a very memorable and enjoyable cruise of Scandinavia onboard the Viking Sun to celebrate their 50th Anniversary.  They wanted something special and had heard from friends about how they enjoyed very much the river cruises offered by Viking.

There were various things that delighted them.  These folks are avid travelers and photographers who have literally traveled to many parts of the world to photograph wildlife and scenery.  

The clients loved the staff.  The staff's friendliness, courteousness, and how they tried to be accommodating and making you feel comfortable and welcome.

The couple thoroughly enjoyed the size of the ship.  Perfect for getting into ports that larger ships cannot venture.  They never once felt overcrowded or felt that they had to wait for anything. 

They felt that the service was outstanding as they were attended to promptly by the crew.

Cuisine, which featured dishes from the country or region they weretravelling in was all served hot and delicious.

Cabin size was a good size and was very comfortable.  The verandah met expectations.

The tours that the clients experienced was said to be very good.  They had one which was disappointing.  It was a small group tour of the Russian countryside and was an optional tour that was in addition to that which was included in the cruise.  They were disappointed in the guide who did not seem to have much to say about what they were seeing.  They did complain and got their money back without question.

The cruise overall exceeded their expectations.  They enjoyed it enough to consider a future Viking Ocean Cruise.  This speaks volumes when it comes for folks who have traveled as extensively as they have.
