As Royal Caribbean sets out to "Wow" their passengers with the latest innovations in cruising, Royal Caribbean's first ever waterslide park will be on board their newest ship - the Harmony of the Seas.
The waterslide park, called Splashaway Bay, will feature a 10-storey plunge and a trio of waterslides.
The waterslide park will feature something for everyone of every age. Starting with a toddler's area with splash buckets, jungle gym and more. The highlight will be the thrill ride the Ultimate Abyss. Featuring a 5 deck spiralling water ride above Central Park. There will be another park area called Supercell. The Supercell will have passengers swirling through a giant bowl.
The Harmony of the Seas will be the newest member of the Oasis Class ships. Joining the Oasis of the Seas and the Allure of the Seas as being among the largest in the world.
The Harmony of the Seas will begin sailing in May 2016. Sailing the Western Mediterranean. Once it completes it assignment in Europe in November 2016, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, will be its homeport. Once in Fort Lauderdale it will be sailing 7-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean.
